VNA's eldercare services are designed to provide older adults the individualized care they need to grow old gracefully in the familiar surroundings of their home. We work with seniors, their families and physicians to create a comprehensive care program that addresses the needs of patients now – and for future needs before a crisis occurs. This service is well suited for working caregivers of older adults, or out-of-state family members who need hands-on health care for their loved one, as well as accurate and timely information about their loved one’s condition.

Eldercare Management - Visits offer registered nurses and licensed practical nurses that assess the patient, draw blood for lab work, assist with medications, and other personalized nursing services. The Eldercare Management package includes an initial assessment by a VNA registered nurse with expertise in elder care, followed by regularly scheduled visits from the same nurse. Also included are weekly phone calls and 24-hour access to a VNA nurse in case of emergency.
- Eldercare Companion Program - This private pay program offers clients independence, socialization and practical assistance with a wide-range of nonmedical needs. Trained companions provide transportation, assist with shopping and errands, accompany clients to doctors’ appointments and prepare healthy meals in the home.
- Bed and Bath - Home health aides provide help with personal needs such as bathing and grooming, monitoring of vital signs, and transferring and ambulating.
- Medication Management - An invaluable program for older adults who need assistance organizing the often confusing medications they need to take. This service includes:
- nursing assessment
- set-up of the pillbox system
- regular checks to ensure adequate medication supplies are available
- assistance with prescription renewals
- medication education
