VNA Hospice Celebrates 16th Annual Tree Program

Vero Beach, Fla. (Nov. 16, 2006) – This holiday season marks the 16th annual VNA Hospice Tree of Remembrance celebration, running Nov. 24 through Dec. 24 at the Indian River Mall (located at the entrance of Dillard’s) and VNA Hidden Treasures (656 21st St. in Vero Beach.) The public is invited to visit the tree at either locations, and hang an angel card in memory of a loved one. Teddy bear cards will be available for children to color and hang on a special Teddy Bear Tree at the mall location.

VNA Hospice is also offering handcrafted porcelain dove, butterfly or star ornaments to individuals who donate $15 or more to VNA Hospice. In 2005, VNA Hospice raised more than $13,500 through the Tree of Remembrance program, which helps provide hospice care to patients in Indian River County who face a life-limiting illness. VNA Hospice is the only non-profit provider of hospice care in the county.
